Contemporary Landscapes from the West of Ireland.
I’m a painter of contemporary landscapes, living in rural Galway, Ireland. I paint colourful semi-abstract paintings in mixed media on wood panels and canvas. I’m influenced by the spectacular landscape along the Wild Atlantic Way – the skies, the ever-changing light, the diffused misty rain, the drenched soils and stones, the wind, the sea and the colours of the seasons. My paintings are my attempt to convey how it feels to live in this West of Ireland countryside, an environment that can be harsh, stormy and windswept but also calm, soothing and gloriously colourful.
Framed in a Light Oak frame with a dark shadow gap. The framed piece measures 31cm x 20cm and comes with a cord hanger on the rear.
Showing the painting in a room setting is to illustrate the scale of the artwork and to show how it will add colour and impact to any space. While every effort as been made to capture the true colours, they may vary from screen to screen.
